Al-Raheel, or 'leaving' in English, is an attempt to make sense of leaving one's country through music. Leaving Beirut in August 2021 and settling in Berlin, I believe that listening and playing Post-Punk and Cold-Wave tunes provided me with the suitable background music to reflect on self inflicted exile and life choices. I hope that through my show, I'll be able to provide you with a space of reflection.
